Setting up Virtual Machines in Fedora

Virtual machines can be used for many purposes. This article explains how to create and manage them in Fedora. It’s divided into three parts, which should be read in the order given below.

The focus will be on hardware-assisted virtualization. It’s made possible by a hypervisor module that is part of the Linux kernel, a technology referred to as Kernel-based Virtual Machines. Accordingly, the module itself is also called KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine).
